Every day is a good day for cake!

Yesterday several of us in Client Services had a mini cake party in the Depot. Call it a Canada Day celebration, call it a pre-Indepence Day gathering, or call it Mabel -- anyway you slice it we all just like to eat cake!

Bess made this flourless chocolate cake with fresh mint she picked from her garden. It was terrific! Go, Bess!

This is me holding the cake on my lap for the car ride back to work.
Bess and I walked to her house to pick up the cake then Bess drove us back.
We were late for the cake party, typical!

That's Carol getting cake. If you look closely you'll see a second cake, which I bought from Shaw's.
Bess and I agreed that it was okay for the clients to eat cake too, so we invited them to grab a piece or two, and they did!
I also brought two glazed donuts and two chocolate chip muffins in case the chocolate cakes
were outer limits for non-chocolate-lovers.
